The event’s registration opened at 9 AM and was open for the whole day, in case any of the participants were late in coming in. By 10:00 AM, the event was officially opened with Liziel Estrella and Oscar Dagarag Jr., PNU Katalonan’s Cultural and Integrations Committee Head and Membership Committee Head, respectively. The opening remarks were done by Oscar followed by the introduction of our keynote speaker done by Denny Vergel, the organization’s PRO. A PNU alumna, as well as a previous core officer of the organization, Seliena Galapin was the speaker of the discussion titled “Hues of Solidarity: SOGIESC 101: Navigating the Basics of Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, Expression, and Sex Characteristics”. The talk spanned from 10:20 AM to 1:20 PM, and lunch was served in the middle of the talk so as to not disturb the discussion; additionally, the audience was also all right with the set up. After the discussion, the open forum happened right after ending at 2:00 PM. It was then followed by the awarding of certificates and photo opportunity.
During the quick PM snack, three student drag queens, Saintify, Miss Violent, and Leb Lanx, performed their drag performances to showcase their talent. After the PM snack, performance, and socialization, the team-building activities curated by the Bachelor in Values Education students (Jonalyn Domdon, Angelica Joyce Fabon, Heaven Rhajanie Galido, and Jennylisa Garcia) happened soon after with the said BVE students facilitating the activities. Two activities were done, ‘Human Bingo’ and ‘I Got Your Back’, and a lecture was done titled “Team Building Lecture 101: Drivers of an Effective Team”. To end the team-building activity, a final activity was done named “Plane Crash”.
After a quick break, the program soon moved on to a quick GPOA presentation, done by the Ikalawang Punong Katalonan, Judhel Alcantara. This was followed by the adviser’s message and the closing remarks, done by the Punong Katalonan, Nilo Dela Cruz Jr. After the PNU Hymn, the event ended at 4:30 PM.
